In her new production, award-winning performance-maker Larisa Faber draws on her Romanian heritage to create a striking stage work that blends documentary theatre, live music to explore the layered complexities of grief and historical memory.
The piece is semi-autobiographical in nature and unfolds as a puzzle: a real-life discovery following her grandmother’s burial becomes a gateway to examining unfinished business and an attempt to confront and mend the wrongs of the past.
