Social contact groups that are available through the BLC for parents with small babies and children. An absolute must if you are new to Luxembourg and have small children as it is a great way to meet other parents in a similar situation. Are you a working mum with a husband who stays home? Then no problem, dads are more than welcome to join in with the fun too.
Currently there are 12 different types of group to get yourself and your child(ren) involved with, members from all BLC areas are welcome to these events no matter where you live or where the host lives, and with so many groups to choose from, there is always something happening that will be close to you.
If you are new to the BLC and want to join in with the Parents and Children activities, there is a contact person available to get you off on the right foot and there is an activity coordinator who works with the BLC committee who is more than happy to help take care of any problems and help with new ideas for groups whilst keeping the committee informed on what is happening and to watch out for any needs that may require committee attention.

Activites currently available are:
A monthly night out for mums to relax without any "little" interuptions.
A coffee morning for new and expectant mothers
Usually meets on a Friday morning according to whim of host and children are of course always welcome
Weekly play sessions for babies from to 18 months
Children aged 18-30 months are invited for a play date or outing on a Thursday afternoon
Arts & Crafts Sessions for ages 1 - 4 and meest first wednesday of the month
open playgroup for ages 1 - 6
Playgroup for parents to interact with their children. Includes chanting rhymes and following fun movements together.
Morning and afternoon sessions
A very popular weekly singing group for children aged 0 to 5
Playtime for ages 1 -2 at Zig-Zag indoor play gym in Bertrange. Every second Friday morning
A library for Little Ones aged 0 -16 |
